So as promised, here are the “tiiiiiiny little things” I’ve been working on. The pattern comes from Lisa’s blog. Who knew dressing your liquor would be so much fun? I made 2 sets to give out as gifts. The wine I bought is questionable (I’m no wine connoisseur), so I photographed them on some really good beer instead. Hey, I know what I like.
The Chilled Wine Garb pattern from Lisa’s blog is free, and this hat/scarf set knits up really quickly. I modified the pattern just a smidgen by turning the cap into a Santa hat, and changed up the striping on the scarf. I used Wool of the Andes from Knit Picks on size 5 needles. If you’re in a gift-giving pinch, why not give some fashionable wine or beer? Yes, I can tell you’re skeptical, but really, aren’t they cute? And hey, you can tell the recipient that the little hat also doubles as a Christmas ornament. Just put a little hook through the pompom and you’re all set!
And yes, I really did make 2 pompoms. Uggh.
