Hi. I’m back.
A while ago I got a message from Netty in Germany (hi Netty!). She asked if it would be OK for one of the ladies in her knitting group to translate my Nemesis sock pattern into German and make it publicly available so her group could do a KAL. Aber natürlich! (The translated PDF pattern can be found on the Ravelry pattern page if you’re interested). A few weeks ago Netty sent photos of the finished socks and kindly allowed me to show the FOs on my blog. Wow, they’re all just so pretty! Vielen Dank, Netty! Click thumbnails to embiggen.
At the time of this posting, there are 333 Nemesis projects listed in Ravelry. What?!? Yes, 333. That’s quite insane if you ask me.
Now it’s back to listening to Tito “El Bambino” while knitting hat #2 for US navy sailors (rav link). I knit a few hats for the cause last year and decided to do it again this year. Hats are quick, fun and satisfying to knit. And I get to use up my stash which is always a good thing.
