As it turns out, I’m a little rusty on the accordion. This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise given that I haven’t played in over a year. So my first attempts at playing “Hysteria” and “Love Bites” by Def Leppard were, shall I say, pretty hideous. Practice, practice…
Yesterday DH and I were out walking when I found a note atop a huge snow pile. Too bad I didn’t have my camera with me. It said something to the affect of:
“You can’t park here. I spent 6 hours shoveling snow during the storm and I leave for just a little bit and you go and take my spot. And also this spot is right in front of my house. That’s just not cool.”
A little further down the road instead of chairs saving someone’s parking spot, there was a little red tricycle. That’s a new one!
So isn’t this a knitting blog you ask? Where’s all the knitting content? I’m finishing up a design for JCA right now and then I can finally work on something blog-able and fun. FUN knitting, what’s that? It’s been so long since I’ve done personal projects, apart from the one blue alpaca mitten I designed and knit for myself and unfortunately didn’t keep any notes. Way to go Susan. *sigh* Anyway, I promised DH some mittens a long time ago. I also want to design some socks with the sock yarn I got in Portland. And what about the coffee cozy pattern I finished and had test knitted? Hopefully I’ll get that edited and uploaded on Ravelry at some point.
I hate ending a post without any pictures. I searched and searched but couldn’t find any recent photos to post. So here’s a picture of a goat I took during our trip to Maine a few years ago. Random, yes, but when has my blog made any sense?
