I never seem to be able to blog about the projects I’m working on. I just finished a design for JCA that I can’t blog about yet. So instead I’ll show you a sweater knit by someone in my knitting group. Emily, who just recently started knitting, just finished the Peppermint Twist sweater from the Stitch ‘N Bitch book. She used Rowan 4 Ply Cotton and mixed in some stripes of metallic yarn. You probably can’t see it well from this picture (because I still need to learn how to use my digital camera better), but believe me, the silver stripes really make this sweater. Emily did a great job!
The SnB group meets every Wednesday night from 6:30-8:30 at the Coffee Tree Roasters on Walnut St. in Shadyside (Pittsburgh). We’re an open group, lots of different ages and professions, and I think we’re pretty friendly. Anyone of any skill level is welcome to drop in and knit/crochet with us.
