I received a Christmas card in the mail yesterday (which made me smack my head like they do in those V8 commercials because I somehow can’t accept the fact that it’s really less than 2 weeks till Christmas and I have yet to send out my cards, but I digress…) which contained a really beautiful handknit sock ornament from Lisa. The sock was knit with the leftover yarn from the sock blank dying party we had last summer. This is yarn from the blank we all signed with dye. She made one sock for each person who came to the party. How sweet! I found a special place for it next to my favorite green ball ornament on our “tiiiiiny little tree” (said in a British accent as the voice of Mrs. Flack from As Time Goes By). 🙂
Here’s a photo with my hand behind the sock to show the scale. It really is a “tiiiiiny little sock” (Mrs. Flack again).
I’m also knitting something “tiiiiiny” myself, but since I’m not quite finished, I’ll wait till it’s complete to post pictures. Back to my knitting!
