Today Lisa and I went to Oakland (in Pgh) for my official Knitty photo shoot. In all, she took 163 pictures of me parading around in my handknit *SECRET SUBMISSION*, trying hard to pretend it’s autumn. (It was a lovely spring day, which made it difficult…) I felt a bit odd posing in front of the fountains at the art museum while cafe goers gawked. At least they got some entertainment! Now to finish writing up the pattern. Schematic, check. Instructions, check. Photos, check. Formatted to Knitty standards, ummm, not yet.
If my submission doesn’t get accepted, I certainly can’t blame it on the photos. They all turned out terrific– thanks Lisa! Now to choose. Hmmm, pick a number, 1-163…
Oh, since it’s a secret submission I can’t post any of the photos. You’ll just have to wait until fall to see them (fingers crossed).
And just for no other reason but to mention it here, tomorrow is Markus’ and my 6th wedding anniversary. Thank you, mom, for the card. Otherwise we would have forgotten! I kid you not. How sad is that??
