So this morning will be spent sewing on buttons and embroidering. Uggh, I’d rather be knitting (or fooling around on Ravelry). In any case, these things have to be done so I can have a full table of stuff to sell at the Etsy trunk show. Here’s what I plan to sell at the show, FYI.
yoga mat bags (of course!)
baby sun dresses
knitting needle cases??
*secret item to be revealed later*
I also plan to sell the pattern for the yoga mat bag, and assuming I get the Sadie dress pattern ship shape before that, I’ll sell it too. I have the whole Sadie pattern written, just needs to be proof read and the larger size calculated.
So I don’t have a car. It usually doesn’t bother me at all, quite the contrary. No gas to pay for, insurance, parking, tune-ups, etc. However… I really need to go to a fabric store, and living in western PA means JoAnn Fabrics ONLY. And the only JoAnn store that is easily accessible by bus is in Robinson Twsp., and they NEVER have what I need. I go in with a long list every time and come away with buttons. Yep, just buttons. I have way too many buttons. And I don’t even particularly like sewing on buttons. Anyway, I need some thread and more material to make some more knitting needle cases to sell at the show.
I made the dog case for Ale and it’s designed to fit crochet hooks as well as dpns and circs. The other 2 I made for Lisa. The cat case holds circs and the other holds dpns only. Lisa uses her cat case to also store notions like the needle gauge and other stuff. These cases turned out really cute, so I hope I can make more.
